MacBook Air Pedestal
thingiverse
A dozen keys on my trusty MacBook Air keyboard called it quits after six years of heavy use. I took matters into my own hands, crafting this sturdy pedestal so I could type away with an external keyboard at hand and still keep my laptop close by. To recreate this DIY triumph, you'll need to gather the following essentials: 1x a compact felt pad measuring 20 x 2/3 millimeters, carefully selected for your laptop's gentle repose 3x specially designed rubber nibs that will anchor the base and keep your keyboard firmly in place – don't be fooled by your print quality; even the flattest of surfaces will thank you as these nubs prevent your laptop from slipping or rattling across the desk 1x M4 x 25/30 millimeter socket screw to tie everything together Now, sit back and enjoy the fruits of your labor.
