MacBook Air (Gen 1) Hinge Fix
thingiverse
The hinges of my antiquated MacBook Air broke down due to freezing, making it unwise to purchase new parts worth approximately $200. In order to solve this problem, I designed holders that would keep the screen elevated without occupying much space when opened. These were attached using epoxy to the bottom of the MacBook Air and are capable of maintaining an optimal viewing angle. The construction material used is PLA, and there aren't any specific instructions needed for assembly; simply attach them with epoxy, and they should function efficiently.
