Macaw Skull
thingiverse
The Red-and-Green Macaw's skull was scanned using DAVID SLS-1 with a 1:1 file size. Separated for scanning were the skull and lower jaw. Scaled and rearticulable after printing are both parts. The lower jaw was printed in an upright position, standing on its joint surfaces and requiring raft and supports. Similarly, the skull was also printed upright, supported by its head's back and also necessitating raft and supports.
