Mac Pro Mini Replica Case for NUC BRIX or Raspberry Pi

Here is a proof of concept design for turning an Intel NUC or Gigabyte Brix computer into a replica mini version of a 2013 Mac Pro. I designed the overall shape but no cut outs or internal structures yet, because I have to acquire the motherboard and fine tune the design to fit. If anyone with one of these boards wants to download and remix this design, they can just do it! Finished height would be about 8 inches by 4.75 inches - just enough for the board, an extra SSD or laptop HDD, and top and bottom fans to mimic the downdraft cooling effect of a real mac. I designed the fan cowl with an apple logo insert that would look cool drilled out and fitted with an LED to serve as a power light. I might modify this file later with cutout molded in. Scaled down this would be a cool case for a raspberry pi or other on-chip mini computer board - just make sure to scale all parts equally. By request, I added the original 123dx files for editing. Print Settings Printer Wanhao Duplicator i3 Rafts Yes Supports Doesn't Matter Resolution 0.1mm Infill 40% for shell 70% for base and fan cowl Notes I printed the fan cowl and base in carbon fiber PLA, and will print the shell in black PLA. Finshed prints are sanded, filled where needed, and primed. Base will be painted in carbon black flat paint. Shell and fan cowl will be lacquered black. Fan cowl will have LED set into apple logo insert as a 'power on' light.
