Mac Pro Lid 2

A custom lid for my Mac Pro trashcan that allows hot air to escape while preventing coffee spills from damaging it. I'm drawn to its sleek cubic shape. Initially, I experimented with a catenary design, but it failed to meet my expectations. This revised design is more streamlined, making it easier to print due to improvements in the printing process. Since completing this project, I've gained valuable experience that has enabled me to refine my previous design. The scale of this object is standardized at 1 unit equaling 1 millimeter. To facilitate printing on smaller printers, the design is divided into sections. This custom lid includes a Mac Pro 'shroud', but it's not an integral part of the object. I've provided the design in three forms: as one cohesive piece and also split into thirds and sixths for added flexibility.
