Mac Mini Stand with Flash Reader
thingiverse
I'm using an old external Hama USB2 reader, which takes 14 hours to print and uses around 90 meters of 1.75 mm filament. The SketchUp files include a simple model of the Mac Mini, the Hama flash reader, the stand itself, and a lid - this is actually a revised version. The Cura gave me some problems with the model, but it was just because I had BRIM turned on - it couldn't fit in my print area because of the brim! If you want to change the lid, I've created a copy inside the SketchUp file; it's hidden when you open the file. This extra rounded hole is for excess cable. I'm currently printing this model, and if it doesn't work out, I'll post an update. The model was drawn in SketchUp to fit the flash reader print - the design of it started with creating a simple model of the flash reader.
