Mac Keyboard Riser Stand with Angle

Mac Keyboard Riser Stand with Angle

thingiverse

I recently got an Arturia MiniLab MKII 25 MIDI controller. While going through tutorials for Reaper, I realized that I wanted the keyboard to be more accessible. After contemplating this, I designed a custom stand. Taking a guess at an angle of 30 degrees seemed like a good starting point. At first glance, I'm incredibly pleased with how it turned out. This design should work well with most slimmer MIDI controllers and potentially other applications as well. Please print two "base.stl" files and one each of the remaining files. The orientation is correct, so you'll only need to add supports for the "middle.stl" file. If stability isn't your top priority, you might be able to get away with printing just one "base.stl", one "left.stl", and one "right.stl". It will still work this way, but if you press too hard on the left or right sides, it may tip over. As designed, with two "base" files and the "middle" file, it is quite stable.
