The problem with broken hinges on the Air Books is well-known. The cost of replacing the hinges is enormous and so are the expenses. I've designed a corresponding monitor holder for my junior's A1237. It works great, doesn't raise the Air Book, so there's no change in stability or tipping. Have fun with it!
