M8x1.25 push fittings for bowden tube
prusaprinters
I had issues with trying to crimp on a Capricorn bowden tube on my mini, so I tracked down and found some push connect air fittings that have matching threads for the mini (tough to find) here's the name of what I found on ebay. [ 1pc Push in to Connect 4mm OD M8x1.25 Male Straight One Touch Fittings MTC4-M8 ]Not taking credit for these parts since I did not make them and don't recall where I found them. I extended the ptfe cutter, so it cuts a 39.7mm new tube for heat break, I also noticed that the white ptfe tube didn't fit into the bottom of the fitting but the capricorn tube does. For the cutter length is 49.3 or 113.86% in the slicer in the x axis or the long way of the part. I'm also including a chamfer tool I liked.I also scaled up a clip for the fitting, 132.19% in X ,Y …. 121.92% in Z, just click the little lock button to adjust them separately.Still in testing but seems to be working well and hasn't clogged yet on me. I am running the regular brass fitting on the extruder since one of them stayed on from the first time I tried the capricorn tube so if you change both of them the tube in the extruder will probably need a different length tube, I haven't looked at that yet. Hope this helps you out,
