As you can see, there is indeed a small gap right next to the opening. Now, let's take a closer look at version two of this project - once I'd completed the printing process, it became clear that the 8mm diameter was simply too snug for its own good. To fix this issue, I opted to enlarge it by just 0.1 millimeters. Additionally, I found that leaving out the raft altogether resulted in a much cleaner finish at the base layer of this print.
