M8 Nut and Bolt
thingiverse
This is a 3D printable M8 bolt and nut, perfect for testing your printer's capabilities with good print cooling required. They will thread together directly off the printer, and the M8 nut will securely fit onto any M8 threads without post-processing needed. The M8 bolt is slightly oversized to guarantee threading with the 3D printed nut, but if you use a M8 nut for post-processing with vice grips and force, the threads can be made to M8 metric standards. Print Settings: Printer: Anet A8 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 200 microns or under Infill: 100% Notes: The M8 bolt and nut will thread together seamlessly off the printer, with the M8 nut fitting snugly onto any M8 threads without post-processing required. Post-Printing: Thread Forming: If you use a M8 nut to post-process the threading on the bolt with vice grips and force, the threads can be made to M8 metric standards.
