M7 Priest "Kangaroo" 28mm
thingiverse
This model is designed to emulate the "defrocked" M-7 priest self-propelled guns used by Allied forces in late 1944 and early 1945, by removing the main gun from these vehicles and adding armor plating to safeguard infantry personnel. These were indeed the first fully tracked armored personnel carriers. I began with a scaled-down version of the M7 in one-hundredth scale from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1037138. I owe thanks to manifold destiny for his contribution. Next, I enlarged it to twenty-eighth millimeter scale; removed the crew compartment, ammunition racks and other equipment; reworked the machine gun platform so it would be proportionate. I added armor plating and bolts on Tinkercad.
