This is a PTFE adapter coupler, with and without a filament guide.

After upgrading my Anet A8 to a E3D with Bowden style extruder, I had issues loading the filament due to void between extruder feeders and where the PTFE adapter screwed into the extruder. Also, I wanted to print flexible filaments and with the large gap, it promoted jamming.

On a secondary note, I wanted to design some threads, both internal and external

AnetA8_M6_PTFE_Coupler_Guide.stl is a fully parametric filament guide that allows the PTFE adapter to screw into it. You may have to drill out the I.D. of the filament guide post printing.

If you have reservations of a printed filament guide, you can use the other option.

AnetA8_M6_PTFE_Coupler.stl would use the standard Anet M6 throat and nut and it couples to the PTFE adapter.

Print Settings

Printer:

Anet A8

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

0.1mm or lower

Infill:

100%

Filament:
3D Solutech PLA

Category: 3D Printer Extruders
