M6A2E1 Heavy Tank

Merry Christmas, a small gift to complement my collection of M6 Variants. I firmly believe this variant of the M6 deserves its own post. In 1944, Americans were grappling with how to address some of the later (and heavier) German panzers. They pondered placing a 105mm anti-tank gun on a vehicle, but lacked a suitable platform to carry it...except an old M6 prototype. Two prototypes had their turrets replaced with a new M6A2E1 turret. The tank was thoroughly tested, and the gun proved effective, but necessitated a new type of tank. This led to the development of T29 and its subsequent series. Update 3/31/19: Hull updated (matching other M6 variants) Update 4/3/19: Turret Size increased (previously, the turret didn't fit properly, appearing slightly off when printed.) Update 4/3/20: Edited the 105mm gun muzzle break For M6, M6A1 and M6A2: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3174913
