m60 tank for microarmor
thingiverse
The model was inspired by Ssmiglieski's M60 remix, which itself appears to be based on TigerAce1945's mesh. I started from scratch using their models as a guide, but focused on optimizing mine for 1/285th scale. The cupola is the same as theirs; the rest is my creation. Getting it to work at such a small size required enlarging some parts and making others thicker to prevent the slicer from ignoring them. While I may not have captured every detail of the prototype, the overall shape and appearance on the gaming table should be acceptable – after all, I'm no GHQ. To differentiate the M60A1 from the M60A3, I added an IR light to the former model. I create my models in Blender using full-size measurements, but export them as 1/100th scale .stl files. You'll need to scale the model by 35% in your slicer to achieve micro-armor size.
