M6 screw 20mm profile attachment box
thingiverse
I chose to rectify the X-wobble on my Tronxy X1 by removing the wheels and installing a budget-friendly ($12 or less) linear rail from eBay. To accomplish this, I had to find an alternative method for making the Z-Axis motor move the arm up and down after removing the wheels and the metal cage surrounding the brass screw and extruder. This allows the leadscrew to pass through it, enables the brass screw to be securely bolted on, and permits the entire assembly to be attached to a 20mm aluminium profile using M4 T-nuts. The design is still a work in progress, as I printed it and discovered some discrepancies of up to 1mm in certain areas. However, TinkerCad discarded my original design, and I've been too apathetic to rectify the issue. Please ensure that the longest component measures exactly 40mm in length to avoid any potential problems with scale accuracy.
