M6 nut/screw adapter for SKB 19" rack systems

I was breathing new life into an old SKB rack flight case, only to discover that I was missing some essential proprietary nuts and screws. Being a bit of a tightwad, I didn't want to spend £14 on 12 nuts/screws - and I had a stash of M6 nuts and bolts lying around, which cost almost nothing from any hardware store. So, I figured there must be a way to repurpose them in my SKB rack. I printed out a few of these small adapters, dropped my M6 hex nuts into the precisely crafted hole (a little dab of Superglue helped keep them securely in place), and slid them onto my rack. Then, I used an M6 screw to secure them from the front. I'm not saying they're as durable as the official SKB solution, but as a simple set-and-forget option, it works perfectly for me. Hopefully, this hack will be useful for someone else out there who needs a cost-effective solution.
