M6 Enclosed Wing Nut

This is an M6 Enclosed Wing Nut. There are two versions available. One version is fully enclosed and features 18mm of internal depth. The other has an open bolt design, allowing any length M6 bolt to be used. The front of the part encloses the nut with 3mm of clearance. A Stainless Steel nut was specifically designed for this application, measuring 10 x 5mm in size. To enclose the M6 nut during printing, pause the print at layer 87 (assuming a resolution of 0.2mm) and orientate the model on its largest base. Insert the nut into the recess and resume printing. For added adhesion when printing onto the nut, place it on the heat bed prior to inserting it into the recess. A 'Grid' infill of at least 70% is required for optimal results.
