M548 (Chassis)

INTRODUCTION
This is the chassis for the M548 RC 1/10 scale model, the first part needed to build the entire model. Designed to be printed on a 200x200 mm printer, this is the most common size. I've tested the model and it seems to work properly, although it's not finished yet. You can see it in action at these links:

M548 Test 1.

M548 Test 2.

M548 Test 3.

M548 Test 4.

ASSEMBLY

FreeCAD
I'm proud to say that the entire design was done using FreeCAD, open-source software. I thank all the developers for making this project possible. To make assembly easier to understand, I've included FreeCAD assembly files where you can see in detail how to put all the parts together. You can download and visualize the assembly at the following link:
FreeCAD official page FreeCAD.
Although I designed all the parts to be assembled with bolts and nuts, some need to be glued: Chassis_D_left, Chassis_D_right, and Chassis_D_center.
Hardware
To assemble all the chassis parts, you'll need:

54 X 10mm M3 bolt (ISO7046)

80 X M3 nut (ISO4032)

10 X 20mm M3 bolt (ISO7046)

In the FreeCAD assembly files, you'll see three parts: Assembly_Truss_Hole, Assembly_Truss, and Assembly Chassis. Each file has all the pieces needed to print all the parts.
PARTS

M548 Gearbox.

M548 Wheels & Suspension.

M548 Body 1/3 (Front).
