To overcome T-slot nut unavailability or high prices, I utilized AutoCAD 2000 to design an alternative. Initially, I printed individual nuts separately which proved unreliable due to potential distortion. However, by creating a chocolate bar form and cutting the nuts post-printing, I successfully enhanced the printing process's reliability. The resulting nuts securely hold when used in my constructed MendelMax 3D printer.
