The M4 Sherman was the most widely produced American tank during the Second World War. Around 50,000 of all versions were produced between 1942 and 1945. It accommodates a crew of 5. It is armed with a 75mm cannon, 2 Browning 7.62 machine guns and sometimes an M2 machine gun on the turret. The Firefly version is a British modification that replaces the 75 mm gun with a 17pd. The box gun was removed to make room for the new gun's larger shells. Around 2,200 conversions were carried out. Please note: for those who bought the M4, the M4A4 body is longer and the gap between the suspension elements is greater than on the M4 body, so the tracks are not interchangeable.
