I quickly remixed Murin's M42 macro extension tube design. To make it printable without supports, I chamfered the inner ring and adapted its size to standard extension tube ratios. The result is a versatile part that comes in three sizes: 10mm, 20mm, and 36mm. Before printing any of these versions, I recommend starting with the 10mm variant to fine-tune your printer's tolerances. If it doesn't fit perfectly as is, you can make minor adjustments by tweaking the x and y dimensions in your slicer software while keeping the z dimension unchanged. This way, you can ensure a snug fit without compromising the part's functionality. When printing this extension tube, it's essential to use a layer thickness of 0.1mm or thinner. Printing at higher resolutions will result in threads that are too thick and may not function properly.
