M42 lens to PL adapter

This adapter enables fitting of legacy M42 screw lenses onto Arri positive-lock and PL camera ports. Note that the lens must fit inside the lens port by about 7mm. Lenses with large diameters at the rear, exceeding ø48mm, will not fit because they are wider than the recess in the adapter. When printing FDM using materials like PLA, the threads can become very tight. It may be simpler to initially screw a lens into place from the back since it's easier to engage. The plastic will yield enough to then allow for screwing in from the front. Alternatively, try the version with the shorter screw thread or use files labeled "42.11" which are slightly looser.
