This is an M42 Lens to 1.25" adapter for cameras planetary cameras with 12.5mm back focus, like the ZWO planetary cameras. It has an integrated vixen dovetail and a photo tripod nut. Works with the factory ZWO 1,25"/T2 adaptor with a Baader filter on it with the M42 lens I have. But if it's too long, try to mount the filter on the back of the factory adaptor, or print the shortened nosepiece. Parts needed: - 3x M4 nuts and (thumb)screws - 1x 1/4 UNC20 nut for the tripod Please note: - Using a 1.25" filter is necessary to have focus at infinity. But you have to use at least an UV/IR cut filter anyway. - The mount adaptor has a M42x1 lens thread. Print it with variable layer height. - The nuts can be installed after printing, simply pull them shortly in the holes slowly with a bolt. - The 1,25" hole is quite tight fit, blobs from crossing perimeters or strings, or seams might make it unusable - The 1,25"/T2 nosepiece has T2 (M42x0.75) thread on camera side and an M28.5x0.6 filter thread on both ends. Print it with variable layer height. It needs supports, print it on the 1.25" side and support the T2 part overhang, this will give the best results and all fine threads will be usable. - I recommend to use at least 20% gyroid infill with at least 4 perimeters. Please use variable layer height for print time and thread quality. - The T2 thread of the USB2.0 ASI120 cameras are looser than the newer cameras, the printable nosepiece works better with newer cameras. - Fusion360 .f3d is included.
