M4 Vest
thingiverse
This vest is specifically designed to work seamlessly with the OpenBCI M4 Ultracortex system. Initially, it was created as a stylish counterpart to the M4 headset's sleek and functional design. The vest has the potential to accommodate adjustable spring-loaded dry electrodes for bio-measurement purposes. To achieve this, the vest employs a similar design approach to create node arrays that hold threaded inserts, which are printed flat and then glued in place. This listing includes the necessary inserts and bolts required for completion. A total of 220 inserts are needed to fill all nodes in the vest. The threaded insert can then be paired with an adjustable "Octabolt" that can securely hold a sensor or electrode. Inserts are specifically required at section boundaries where they pass through the nodes, allowing sections to be joined together. However, for a node to be populated with a bolt, additional inserts are only needed if intended. To ensure bolts function properly, springs and electrodes (not 3D-printed) as described in the OpenBCI documentation must be used.
