M3D spool holder

Human: Probably the most straightforward way to create a filament holder for small M3D rolls on your M3D printer is by using an external solution.\n\nInternal filament tends to get trapped inside my M3D sometimes, so I opted for a standalone solution.\nThe entire project requires only one printed component (which can be easily printed on an M3D) and a standard paint roller set that can be purchased at any local hardware store.\nThe custom-printed part is specifically designed to work with paint rollers featuring a 6mm round metal roller bracket.\nIf you prefer, you can also use a filament holder for larger rolls (1Kg) found here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1157949\nInstructions:\n1) First, print the provided .stl file using your M3D printer.\n2) Remove the plastic handle from the paint roller - I used a hacksaw to cut mine in half.\n3) Be patient and let the printer finish its job. Once done, carefully remove the printed part along with any support material from the hole.\n4) Next, insert the paint roller handle into the hole while gently tapping it with a soft hammer or mallet.\nCaution: Remember to wear proper eye protection when using any sharp objects! Have fun printing!\nPrinting Settings:\nPrinter Used: M3D\nSettings:\n- Rafts: On\n- Supports: Enabled\n- Resolution: Set to Medium quality\n- Infill Density: M3D is set to Full, equivalent to approximately 50% on other printers. This will result in a mesh-like interior structure.\nNote: If you're using the full infill option with your M3D printer software, keep in mind that it corresponds to a 50% infill density used on standard printers.\nThe filament type can vary depending on the print quality and durability requirements. I've personally tried printing this design with PLA, but ABS may also work as well under certain conditions.
