A perfect fit for M3D spools is guaranteed by this design. Pairing seamlessly with the printable arm from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:739342 makes for an impressive combination. Created in response to a flawed design, I constructed this piece since "Spool Spacer" (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:753630) failed to deliver as expected due to its fragility when printed with PLA material. My goal was clear: to craft something more robust that would perform well even under demanding conditions. Given the single-purpose design, printing one unit will be sufficient since this item needs to run throughout the spool without fail. As an introductory effort, I present this upload in the hopes that it brings a practical solution to others. Instructions Crafted using SketchUp Make 2015 and exported into STL format with utmost precision.
