M3D Safety Shield

The M3D Micro lacks end-stops and may struggle with drifting issues. Combining these factors results in a machine capable of printing at the front edge of the print bed, and in extreme cases, it can drive itself into the gap between the bed and case, ultimately causing them to bond together permanently. After utilizing the Sword of Xact Zero for an extended period, I was able to separate them once again. This Thing is essentially a wall positioned behind the front edge of the print bed, effectively blocking drift but not interfering with normal printing operations. Print Settings: Printer: M3D Micro Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: Medium Notes: Print both left and right halves. If you're experiencing drifting issues (a common problem that prompted this guide), you may need to perform some sanding to ensure a proper fit. In doing so, the parts will become so snug they'll no longer require glue.
