I came up with this revised design because it appears that the first and second concepts might face some challenges during printing on the Micro printer. This new mount is expected to facilitate smoother printing results on the Micro. It's recommended to use a low infill setting as the tolerance levels should be relatively precise. If you encounter any issues while printing, kindly inform me so I can revise the model further. Pictures will undoubtedly help me to refine the design if needed. A comprehensive assembly file featuring both mounts is also included. The file contains separate parts for each mount in case you prefer to print them individually rather than together. Feedback on the original design suggested that the mounting slot might be slightly too tight. In response, I made a few adjustments to address this concern. I added several thousandths to the model to ensure a tighter fit and also resized the nut holder as it was originally 0.05 units larger than necessary. I maintained approximately 0.01 unit clearance in reserve for potential movement or flexibility while still ensuring proper stability through increased dimensions on the top and bottom slot, mounts, respectively. The original files are retained within a zip archive titled "Slotted Micro Mount Rev1.zip", while new versions with "Rev2" suffix are available for those interested.
