M365 Xiaomi additional battery case/holder

This is the battery holder for an additional battery for the Xiaomi M365 scooter. It's specifically designed to fit a 6AH battery - other sizes won't fit. I bought mine for 60USD with a charger included. You'll also need six M5 screws, which can be screwed directly into the plastic case - that's more than enough. In this case, you'll need 40mm long screws. Alternatively, you can add a nut (there is a space for it inside the case) and then you'll need 45mm long screws and nuts. To connect an additional battery, you should also get a T-type socket with cable, a Y splitter with XT30 plugs, and another XT30 connector. The actual connection inside the scooter looks like this: You can see that the T-type socket is connected to the XT30 connectors. The Y splitter allows for two batteries to be connected together. You'll only need to solder one XT30 connector. Leaving the battery connector outside allows you to quickly disconnect the battery (if needed) and using a Y splitter inside (without soldering directly) will allow you to restore the scooter to its original wiring if necessary. Warning! Before connecting two batteries together, make sure they are at the same voltage level - just charge them fully. After connecting them together, charge both batteries with the original charger over the M365 charge socket (it's not perfect but this will work, and make sure that the batteries are balanced enough).
