M365 Scooter Lock Holder Lock holder specifically designed for Dechatlon bike lock. Simply slide the lock into place and secure it with confidence. The lock itself is a B'TWIN 900 mini model. It's likely to fit other locks as well, but double-check the dimensions first. Here are the specifications: - U-core centre-to-centre distance: 90mm - U-core diameter: 18mm I positioned the holder at an angle so that the scooter handlebar can still be folded down when not in use. To install the holder, remove the original plastic cover on the right side of the scooter. Use the original screws for mounting. I also used them to reinforce the top part. However, for the bottom mount where it attaches to the frame, I employed longer M3 screws measuring 25mm. This way, even if they become loose, the lock will keep them securely in place and prevent complete unscrewing. Considering the scooter is subject to a lot of vibrations, make sure to tighten the screws firmly and apply some screw glue available at hardware stores. But again, it's possible for them to loosen over time. To mitigate this risk, you can use longer screws, which will be kept in place by the lock, preventing complete unscrewing or falling out. I've noticed that all the screws on my scooter are glued. This seems like a smart move to prevent loosening. For now, I haven't applied glue, but it's something I might consider doing in the future.
