I decided to push forward on a project before receiving metal T nuts, so I created three 3D printed ones to keep things moving until I had something more robust in place. Thus far, two of these have been successfully holding my linear rail steady with a direct drive without any issues arising. To provide added security, I'm now incorporating two additional 3D printed T nuts as backups.
