M3 is a specialized respiratory mask designed specifically for 3D printing in a single unibody piece. KEY FEATURES - This mask prints easily without support material or raft, making it simple to produce. - Cleaning the mask is effortless using a hydro-alcoholic solution or soap; however, temperatures above 70°C can compromise its structure and effectiveness. - The mask's design ensures a tight seal with the face, significantly enhancing its ability to prevent particles and aerosols from entering through the mouth or nose. - A replaceable filter is included, which should be made of SMS polypropylene like surgical masks or non-woven vacuum bags; paper or clothing are not recommended. A cutting guide is provided to make this process easier, and the filter locks securely inside the mask with its cap. - The curved design effectively separates the mouth and nose from the filtering surface of the mask. - An additional rail on the mask allows for easy attachment of other devices. - This mask weighs just 25 grams. IMPORTANT NOTICE - This mask is not a medical device and should not be used by individuals suffering from breathing difficulties. Due to reduced airflow caused by the filter, it's also not recommended for sports activities or high-intensity efforts. PRINTING AND ASSEMBLY PROCESS - First, print the main part of the mask along with the cap and head-clip (if using) at a minimum resolution of 200 micrometers (0.2 mm) using flexible material. To ensure proper alignment, tilt the model 135 degrees on the printer platform. - Next, print the cutting guide at a resolution of either 300 or 400 micrometers; this should be sufficient. - Put on clean gloves or wash your hands before cutting the filter to size. - Place the filter inside the mask's grid and secure it with the cap. SIZE GUIDE - For optimal fit, we recommend printing the mask at the following sizes: S (100% of reference size), M (114%), L (128%). You can also measure the width between your cheeks and adjust the model size accordingly.
