M3 Mounting Arm

M3 Mounting Arm

thingiverse

This is a mounting arm system I designed to use 25mm M3 bolts and nuts. The parts are 10mm thick. It was designed in Fusion 360 and those files are included here. Each design is derived from the "Basics" design, which contains the 3-sticky-out-thing (SOT) hinge and 2-SOT hinge with their joining axis centered on the origin. There's an arm created by shifting one of the hinges 100mm, making the pivot-to-pivot length 100mm. I tried to mount a "monitor" monitor using this, but it was too weak to support the weight. So I created the "HD" variant of the arm where there are 2 hinges per end, with their centers 50mm apart. This works pretty well but can be a bit wobbly. Also included are random accessories I've used: - A base that piggy-backs the 100mm VESA mount on my main monitor with an "HD 3SOT" connector. - A 75mm VESA plate with an "HD 2SOT" connector and a standard "3SOT" to the side. - A triangle-shaped ring light with 2SOT connector, for WS2812 LED strip. - ESP32 DOIT board mount for the ring light - Logitech C905 webcam mount for ring light
