This is a handy tool for individuals working with SCAD or modifying someone else's design to determine the ideal hole size required for M3, M4, or M5 <b>nuts</b> to fit perfectly. The parameter being adjusted in this setup is the "e" dimension shown on the attached drawing. In the test rig, the hole size "e" has been set as follows: M3: 6.3mm to 6.8mm with a step of 0.1mm M4/M5: 8.5mm to 11 mm with a step of 0.25mm Feel free to adjust these settings according to your specific needs; the SCAD file is attached for easy modification. Personally, I found the following optimal settings to work best: M3: 6.5mm M4: 8.5mm M5: 9.5mm
