M3 GMC 75mm Antitank
thingiverse
M3 GMC used by American and British mid-war forces. It saw action in North Africa with tank destroyer battalions, where it was deployed ineffectively in the Battle of Kasserine Pass and several other engagements. However, it achieved success in the Battle of El Guettar, demonstrating its capabilities under fire. The M3 GMC also participated in the Allied invasion of Sicily, but eventually gave way to the M10 tank destroyer. A total of 2,203 units were produced, with 1,361 converted back into M3A1 half-tracks. I've built this model using foolyo89's excellent base as a starting point and incorporated elements from Deweycat and bolbot to create the gun shield. For convenience, I've included all of foolyo89's files here. As I finalize the design, some minor adjustments may be made; my first test print is showcased in the cover image, with improvements still being made to the gun. This model is scaled for 28mm use; if you need a different scale, simply adjust it in your slicer.
