The other standoffs I tried were too bulky for an m3 screw to thread into, so I created custom ones using 123d design. I printed these out of TPU, giving them flexibility. The hole turned out a bit undersized, making threading with a tap or using a flexible material essential. These seemed to print smoothly when laid down flat.
