To assemble the spline shaft and boss, you need two M3x3 bolts or a strong adhesive. Here are the 3D printed results from those who participated in the 3D printing win-win project: https://www.facebook.com/cybbiggu/posts/2622242491191347 https://youtu.be/Hwdj9LC02VQ Important considerations for 3D printing and assembly: 1. To improve output quality (precision, etc.), follow these steps: a) Print multiple types of parts at once. b) Reduce the number of parts being printed at the same time. 2. The closer the distance between the nozzle and bed (Z-offset value), the more likely you are to get a "elephant foot" effect on the bottom surface of your print. This can cause issues when assembling parts with round holes or splines, as it may make them difficult to assemble. 3. When assembling two parts together, they may be too tight, loose, or wobbly. This is especially true after the first assembly, and usually improves with repeated attempts at inserting and removing the parts. 4. If you're having trouble getting parts to fit together, try reducing the XY scale of the spline shaft by 5% to adjust its size. 5. When using M3 screws (or "tactile pins"), be careful not to over-tighten them, as this can cause them to become loose over time. Instead, tighten them just enough to hold the parts in place. 6. To attach the boss to the spline shaft, you'll need two M3x3mm bolts and a hex wrench (1.5mm). 7. If you're having trouble finding the right bolts, try using a strong adhesive like epoxy to attach the boss to the spline shaft. Just be careful not to overtighten it. 8. If your print is damaged during assembly, you may be able to repair it with some glue and patience. 9. When assembling parts that will move, make sure there's a small gap (about 0.5mm) between them to allow for smooth movement. You may need to use tools like pliers, string, sandpaper, or deburring tools to clean up any rough edges or burrs.
