M249 Lower Handrail
thingiverse
I created this lower hand rail specifically for the Classic Army, A&K, and Echo 1 M249, suitable for all models. Unwilling to spend over $80 on a CNC-machined rail, I designed my own to fill this gap. Although it may also fit on real steel variants, adjustments might be required. Rest assured, every aspect of this design is entirely original and has not been borrowed or modified from any other source. When using the FFF method to create this part, please use a responsible approach. The recommended print settings include: I printed the prototype with a 0.3mm layer thickness, utilizing 15% honeycomb infill. To optimize printing efficiency, apply the infill only where necessary, based on the parts' overall dimensions. Use full supports during vertical printing for optimal results. The successful printing temperature was achieved at 205 degrees Celsius, with a bed temperature set to 60 degrees Celsius and an extrusion rate of 94%.
