M24 Stielhandgranate 3D print STL prop model
cults3d
The M24 Stielhandgranate "Potato masher"! The well known german handgrenade from the Second World War, although the design dates back to The Great War. This is an STL file for 3D printing with FDM 3D printers, based upon original drawings found in the German Bundesarchiv. While the outside dimensions and details are similiar to the orginal, the internals are not. Obviously this is not a live grenade, nor is it designed to be used as so. It is optimized for easy 3D printing on most hobby 3D printers, such as the Ender 3. All parts screw together on their threaded ends. The main stick part is split in two, for easier printing. The split in the middle might need some plastic filler, to be smooth. Your choice. In the warhead, there's a rod with a hole for attaching a string with a bead/pearl at the end, like on the orinal. You can make it so that the sting loosens like the original, when pulled. I'd recommend using a "slip knot" (the actual knot, not the band) which unties it self when you yank on the bead. Be advised, this is a digital STL file for use with 3D printers, not a physical product.
