The M24 Chaffee, also known as Light Tank M24, was a light tank employed by the US during late WWII and subsequent postwar conflicts like the Korean War and, in conjunction with France, wars in Algeria and Indochina. Named after General Adna R. Chaffee Jr., who championed tank use in the US military, it remains in service as a light tank in third-world countries along with other vintage hardware from that era. Despite being retired from American and British forces, this versatile vehicle continues to see action across the globe. In addition to its historical significance, the Chaffee offers a detailed model for 3D artists, meticulously divided into hull, suspensions, wheels, tracks, turret, and gun components, each with textures exported from Substance Painter at 2048x2048 resolution.
