This is a versatile filament cleaner designed specifically for the MakerGear M2 printer, utilizing a common clothespin spring as its core component. The result is an easy-to-remove design that makes spool changes a breeze. Two strategically placed guide holes enable users to switch to an alternative guide if the filter foam starts wearing out in the initial guide, and the Ester foam cleaner pads can be flipped over for extended service life. This model is universally compatible with any 3D printer that provides open access to the filament path before it enters the extruder. Two versions of this filament cleaner are available: a standard version (III) and a heavy-duty variant (IX), each featuring thicker guides tailored for optimal performance.
