M2 Cooling Fan Shroud
thingiverse
I am creating a custom cooling fan shroud for the MakerGear M2's stock 50 mm cooling fan assembly. This bolt-on upgrade directs the cooled air towards the print and away from the heater block, which can steal power from the heater unnecessarily. I printed the shroud in ABS to withstand the heat generated by the heated print bed. I designed this file using FreeCAD and it was my first attempt at a semi-complex model. I hope you find it helpful. Print Settings Rafts: They Do Not Matter Supports: It Is Unnecessary Resolution: 0.25 millimeters
