This is a 1/64 scale model of the Bradley Fighting Vehicle (BFV), designed to transport infantry or scouts with armor protection while providing covering fire to suppress enemy troops and armored vehicles. The Bradley platform was manufactured by BAE Systems Land & Armaments, formerly United Defense, and was named after U.S. General Omar Bradley. The Bradley is equipped to hold a crew of three, including a commander, gunner, and driver, along with six fully equipped soldiers in the M2 variant. This infantry fighting vehicle conducts missions while providing armor protection for its crew and soldiers. The M3 Bradley cavalry fighting vehicle mainly conducts scout missions, carrying two scouts in addition to the regular crew of three. The Red River Army Depot in Texarkana, Texas, serves as the Center of Industrial Technical Excellence for the maintenance and repair of the Bradley system.
