The M1A2 Abrams is the US Army's primary main battle tank. Created in 3ds Max 2009 and exported in multiple formats, each includes materials and texture maps. The 3ds Max version utilizes mental ray materials for rendering without needing any additional third-party software or plugins. Simply drop the model into a scene and hit render for accurate results. A detailed and accurately scaled model of the tank has been produced. Its turret is a detachable object that can be freely rotated. Tracks are designed with the PathDeform tool, keeping spline paths frozen to enable smooth animation by adjusting percentage values. Three large texture maps measure 2048 x 2048 pixels, while a primary transparent main texture map measures 512 x 512 pixels.
