This is a hood for the front sight of an M1A that reduces glare when shooting directly into the sun, thereby enhancing accuracy. The design allows for some movement once snapped on due to its imperfect fit. Despite this, it effectively serves its purpose. Given its intended use outdoors in direct sunlight and potentially wet conditions, I printed it with ABS plastic.
