The following design is a custom solution for the M16 cap and DIN125A washer combination. This custom-made component is specifically engineered to provide a tight fit between the nut and the washer, with a slight gap present in the washer itself. Designed to Meet Precision Standards This custom-designed cap is manufactured with precision, providing an exact fit between the nut and washer. The unique feature of the design is the deliberate presence of a gap on the washer, adding an extra layer of reliability and functionality to the entire assembly. Step-by-Step Instructions for Manufacturing To produce this customized M16 cap, a Replicator 2x printer was utilized with the following settings: - The 3rd fan was enabled. - Rastering (or Raft) mode was activated to ensure even printing and adherence of the model to the print bed. - Support materials were not used for optimal flexibility in the finished design. - Two shells were printed, each consisting of a double-layered structure with high-definition printing capability. - Infill density was set at 10% to provide adequate support without adding excessive material to the final product. - The layer height for this design was specified at 0.2 millimeters to ensure crisp, clean details in every layer.
