You need two M3x3 bolts or a strong adhesive to assemble the spline shaft and boss. https://www.facebook.com/cybbiggu/posts/2644297358985860 https://www.facebook.com/groups/koreamakers/?multi_permalinks=1640846782720719 <<3d printing and assembly precautions v.1a2>> 1. To increase the output quality (dimensional accuracy, etc.), do the following: a) Printing multiple types of parts at once can lower the output quality. --> Divide the parts into similar types and print them separately. b) Printing a large quantity at once can also lower the output quality. --> Reduce the number of parts being printed at the same time. 2. When the nozzle and bed are close together (Z offset value), the bottom surface is compressed like an elephant's foot, resulting in poor output. Especially for parts with round holes or splines on the bottom surface, this can cause the part to shrink, making it difficult to assemble. 3. When assembling two parts, they may be too tight, loose, or not quite right. The first assembly after printing is often too tight, but repeated insertion and removal will usually improve it. However, if it's still very tight or requires excessive force, there may be a problem with the output quality. 4. If the spline shaft and gear, or spline shaft and boss are difficult to assemble, you can try reducing the XY scale of the spline shaft by 5%. Try this before reassembling. 5. When assembling the screw pins, repeated insertion and removal can cause them to become loose. To avoid this, do not disassemble the parts after the first assembly. If they become loose, you can reprint or use a strong adhesive. The filament material may also affect the tightness or looseness of the screw pins. You can increase the XY scale of the screw pin to adjust its size. 6. To fix the boss to the spline shaft, you need M3x3mm hex bolts and 1.5mm wrenches. If the bolts are tightened too tightly, the thread may become damaged, causing the holes to loosen. Adjust the force while tightening to avoid this. 7. If you cannot find hex bolts, you can use a strong adhesive (such as blue-colored epoxy) to fix the boss to the spline shaft. Apply a small amount of adhesive to the M3 hole and wait for it to set. However, disassembly may be difficult. 8. If a part is damaged during assembly, you can use a strong adhesive to repair it. 9. A gap (about 0.5mm) should always be present in working parts for smooth movement. You may need to perform secondary processing such as drilling or deburring using tools like pliers, string, sandpaper, or deburring tools. If none of the above methods solve your problem, please let us know and we'll help you further.
