This is a reworked version of m_bergman's 1/200 scale M11/39 model, scaled up to 1/100 for 15mm wargaming purposes. The original model has a good silhouette, but it lacks refinement in terms of detail and reliability when printing at this smaller scale. To address these issues, I've added and refined details such as rivets and other small features. Additionally, I've created new running gear that is more detailed than the original model. There are two versions of the hull: a single piece and a split version that requires gluing together. The split version prints better in my experience, but it does require careful alignment when assembling the two halves. I print on a glass bed, which provides perfectly smooth gluing surfaces. The turret plug can be positioned exactly within the turret by sliding it down a small dowel (an old paintbrush works well) lodged in the socket at the base of the turret. Once the glue sets, the dowel can be removed. There is also a larger socket at the bottom of the turret plug to accommodate a 5x1mm magnet for secure attachment.
