To optimize the Monoprice Monolith M1060 headphones, I tried minimizing material blocking the drivers and ensuring precise alignment with the magnetic bars while keeping the exposed diaphragm completely open. Two millimeters of additional thickness were added for increased strength. However, the screw holes are not tapered, so adjustments may be necessary using the included screws.
